SBC Campus Closure | June 30 – July 5
We hope you and your family enjoy a fun and relaxing July 4th! All SBC campuses, cafes, and offices will be closed for a short break from Monday, June 30, through Saturday, July 5.
If you need any assistance or pastoral care, you can reach our pastor-on-call at 480-334-4102.
YTH Summer Nights | Sundays, June 29 & July 6 | 5pm (4 & 6pm at Cactus)
Who has the best pizza in the Valley? Our YTH will be making the call on Sunday night, June 29! Following their worship and teaching, the students will taste-test a bunch of local pizzas to see which one wins. Then Sunday, July 6, is Country Night! Rock your favorite flannel and come ready for corn hole, grilling, and more! Don’t let your student miss these fun event! Follow @sbc_yth on Instagram for more summer info.
Baptisms | Sunday, July 20 | All campuses
Ready to go public with your faith? Baptism is your chance to tell the world you belong to Jesus. It’s a powerful next step that shows what God has done in your life—and it’s a moment worth celebrating. If you’re following Jesus and feel like now’s the time, let’s talk about what baptism could look like for you.
JHM Fall Camp | October 3-5 | Lost Canyon, Williams
There are moments in a kid’s life that mark them forever—this could be one of them. JHM Camp isn’t just fun (though there’s plenty of that). It’s a weekend where your junior higher can encounter Jesus in a fresh way, build lasting friendships, and grow in confidence and faith. Give them a chance to unplug, connect, and experience moments that matter.
Immerse Discussion Groups | Sundays, various times | All campuses
Whether you’re all caught up or running a little behind on your Immerse summer reading, stop by a discussion group at your campus this Sunday. You can bring your questions and insights…or just listen to what others are learning. Come any week you’re available and get more out of God’s Word this summer.
Re|engage Marriage Sessions | Sundays | 11am | All Campuses
Marriage is amazing but not always easy. This summer, Re|Engage is your weekly chance to hit pause and reconnect—no pressure and no perfect couples. Each Sunday brings a new topic, honest conversation, and maybe a few “oh good, it’s not just us” moments. Come when you can, laugh a little, grow together, and leave encouraged.
Men’s Construction Trip | September 11-21 | Tanzania
This fall, a team of SBC men is heading to Tanzania—not just to pour concrete, but to pour into lives. As our Mairowa school grows, so does its impact. By expanding the dining hall into a multi-purpose space, we’ll create room for more students to learn, enjoy meals, and hear the hope of Jesus. If you’re ready to use your hands to serve and have your heart changed, this is your invitation.
